L’Oqenz is DJ, Producer and Dora Award-Nominated Sound Designer. Her passion for music and undeniable skills on the turntables have made her sought after musical resource at home in Toronto and across the globe. She has toured Canada, the United States, Asia, the Caribbean and the UK. L’Oqenz has shared the stage and worked with artist such as, Zaki Ibrahim, Motion, Tanika Charles, Jean Grae, Bahamadia, K’Naan, M1 (Dead Prez), Maseo (De La Soul) and Kool Herc. She has been heard at Toronto’s ROM, AGO, Luminato and at the Roxy in LA opening for renowned poet Saul Williams. L’Oqenz has Deejayed at the Brooklyn Museum’s Basquiat exhibit, and in 2015 curated the Tribeca Film Festival official playlist. Most recently, she was a feature guest at the Nkabom and Chale Wote Festivals in Ghana.
